The Golden Hour

This luminous image of a golden sable Collie enjoying a view of the water at sunrise was created by not one, but six artists. Using a photo as a reference, at a holiday party, a timer was set, painting began. When the buzzer rang, the artist left their brushes, paints,  painting and moved to their right, and so on down the line, until each person painted on six paintings and each had added their own touch to Carol's. It was a fun surprise for the group, and we think you’ll agree that the result is stunning, too! The piece was done alla prima (wet on wet) in oils.  Unframed, 10 x 8 on a panel.  
 
The reference used for this painting was taken by a collie owner and Carol was given permission to use it.  Carol unfortunately lost the name of the photographer.  If the photographer is in our CWB, group please give a shoutout for your stunning photograph!
